Minister’s Report: Paul reports on a fairly ordinary month. Planning for opening of new building and estimating expenses. The contractor will clean the Recreation Room and new building and kitchen. Volunteers will need to clean the dining room and other areas, even after contractor is finished, to remove dust and soil.
The Fair Wisconsin group has a new representative to reenergize that movement.
Deb Hartman moves to approve report, Marsha Fitzgerald seconds, passed.
Chalice Lighter Report: Deb Hartman reports on the $11,000 that was delivered to our Church. This comes with requirements of 6-month reports. The first will include basement renovation. Our Church will need to have 44 Chalice Lighters on record.
Brad Lantzer volunteers to incorporate the call for participants within the upcoming pledge drive with Greg Zavadoski
Building dedication ceremony: Sheryl announces that Sept 8 & 9 are the dates for the Art Festival, and will be dates to have an open house at the Church. Dances, or time capsule are being considered. Ribbon cutting is a possibility, maybe with various denominations speaking, and food available.

Church credit cards were discussed. They could be issued for each staff member, with the possibility of one extra card for volunteers. Concern was expressed that the extra card would open a possibility of abuse. It was agreed to have 3 cards authorized. Barb May and John Robinson will draft an agreement to sign for each card user.
Publicity: John Robinson reports that $964 remains in the account for publicity. Ideas were discussed for announcing the opening of our new building, such as posters during the Art Festival, radio and newspaper ads.
The state building inspector will complete the first inspection on July 11th. Elevator and sprinkler system needs to be completed and tested before that, or the Church would need to pay $800 for a second inspection.
Next meeting scheduled for July 25 at 5:15 pm at the Church. (Also John Robinson’s birthday)
Meeting adjourned at 7:10pm
Respectfully submitted,
Brad Lantzer, Secretary
